Secondary

High school at Braeburn Kisumu (ages 11 to 16) covers Key Stages 3 and 4 (IGCSE). Years 7 to 9 build on the primary framework with specialised teachers for all subjects. Progress is tested regularly and ends in the Key Stage 3 SATs.

During term 2 of Year 9, pupils select their subjects to study in Years 10 and 11. These are called IGCSEs and are assessed via Cambridge International Examinations. All pupils study English Literature, Language, and Mathematics and select six additional subjects, for a total of nine.
