A Night Under the Stars

1st May 2026

There is no better way to wrap up a busy school term than with a night under the stars. On Thursday, March 26th, our Scout troop took over the school grounds for an unforgettable overnight adventure.

The afternoon kicked off with a flurry of activity as Scouts worked together to pitch their tents. There was a great sense of camaraderie as our older Scouts guided new members through the setup, ensuring every campsite was 'patrol-perfect.' After the hard work of pitching camp, the Scouts headed to the pool for a well-deserved free swim the perfect way to cool off before settling in for the night

After a night spent under canvas and a hearty breakfast on Friday morning, the troop gathered for the weekend's highlight: our badge ceremony. It was a proud moment as Scouts were officially awarded their Nyota (Mwanzo), Camping, and Bonfire badges.

These awards represent a full term of dedication and teamwork. Presenting them in the morning light, just as the rest of the school arrived for the final day of term, was the perfect way to celebrate their growth before the holiday break.
