A Tiny Tea Party

5th May 2023

To mark the upcoming historic Coronation of King Charles III, BNIS held a tiny tea party! The whole school from Creche to Year 8 came to the quad adorned in a delightful range of unique handmade crowns ready to celebrate this momentous occasion.

A diagonal line of mats formed a street party style set up, with children sitting in ascending age order. With jovial music playing, we were treated to delightful red, white and blue cupcakes and a small cup of hot chocolate. Everyone was invited to join in with a hip-hip hooray style cheers. Children were interested to learn that just like we sing the Kenyan National Anthem in all our assemblies, Britain also has a National Anthem, which Mr Sam played for us on the Saxophone to listen to.

Our tiny tea party might have only lasted 15 minutes, but it was greatly enjoyed by all!
