All Systems Sport

30th September 2021

The start of this Academic Year brought with it the much awaited return to sports training.

After almost two years, it’s safe to say that the children were more than a little excited to finally be back to training in their teams…

The PE department has implemented a rigorous training schedule to whip everyone back into shape, starting with early morning sessions for all Primary children, and going on throughout the day with lunch time training, on to after school sessions for our Swimming Squad.

On Tuesday and Friday mornings, children work to upkeep Kenya’s reputation in Middle and Long distance events by improving their endurance at Running Club; on Wednesday mornings, our future Wanyamas have a chance to hone their dribbling and shooting skills at football club before school.

You name a sport and the PE team are probably hard at work getting students ready to compete in it, and as if that wasn’t exciting enough, the training schedule is set to change throughout the year, meaning that children will be able to perfect their skills across the board by the time the end of the year comes around.

For children who are curious about how they can be more involved in sports at Braeburn Nanyuki, be sure to come and talk with your coaches about what is on offer for your bubble right now.
