On Thursday, our swimmers proudly represented Braeburn Nanyuki at the annual George Gacheru Memorial Gala, hosted at Greensteds International School in Nakuru. The event brought together strong competition from St. Andrew’s Turi, Pembroke, St. Christopher’s, Greensteds, and Shah Lalji School, making Braeburn Nanyuki one of six participating schools in this highly anticipated gala.
Our team delivered an outstanding performance, returning home with an impressive haul of 7 first place finishes, 7 second places and 10 third places across a range of individual and relay events. These results are a clear reflection of the swimmers’ hard work, commitment, and consistency in training that happens all year round. Equally inspiring was the incredible team spirit on display, as swimmers cheered one another on and celebrated every success together.
This fantastic start to the swimming term has laid a strong and exciting foundation for the season ahead. With such passion, determination,and unity already evident, we look forward to many more achievements and memorable moments in the pool as our swimmers continue to grow and shine.
