As we prepare for the post-half-term tournament season, our children gained valuable match experience through friendly fixtures hosted by BNIS and Three Rivers Academy. These games allowed players to apply their training, build confidence, and adapt to real match situations. In netball, two U13 teams rotated positions, improving communication and focusing on key areas such as spacing, movement, and decision-making. On the football field, the girls worked on defensive shape, while the boys focused on quick passing and finishing, strengthening both their skills and team dynamics.
In rugby, the U11 boys played with determination, securing a victory with a last-minute try, while the U13 boys demonstrated resilience and capability despite a smaller group. The girls’ rugby team earned a thrilling win with a last-minute try, showcasing their progress in touch rugby. These friendly matches were a valuable part of our preparation, offering players the chance to refine their skills, collaborate as a team, and build confidence ahead of the upcoming tournaments.
