BNIS Running Club

7th March 2025

The BNIS Running Club has seen remarkable participation this academic year, with children demonstrating exceptional commitment and intrinsic motivation to improve their running form and endurance. Running in the early morning has proven to be highly beneficial, helping children activate their minds and bodies for the day ahead.

The club also helps prepare our athletes for important competitions. In Term 1 we had Athletics events and in term three we have the annual cross-country event which we will proudly host. Children from Year 3 to Year 8 are now training at Tambuzi Farm, getting used to the BNIS cross-country course and learning to race in different conditions. Teachers are recording their times, and a team will soon be chosen to represent the school.

We truly appreciate the support from parents and are excited to involve even more children in running. With the progress made this year, we look forward to seeing our young athletes continue to grow and succeed.
