BNIS Sports Morning

14th November 2025

Our school grounds were alive with excitement as we hosted our annual Sports Morning for children in Years 1 to 8. The event kicked off in style with an electrifying warm-up dance led by Olivia, Cece and Edie, whose energy set the perfect tone for the day ahead.

Children from Years 5 to 8 took to the field first, grouped proudly in their houses and filled the air with spirited chants and cheers. Having practiced their skills during P.E. lessons, they showcased impressive athletic ability, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the morning. From sprints and hurdles to relays and team challenges, every event highlighted their determination and cooperation, and it was heartwarming to see handshakes and smiles at every finish line.

The Years 1 to 4 events were just as thrilling. The younger children brought enthusiasm to activities designed to develop their balance, coordination and movement skills. Their joy and encouragement for one another captured the true Braeburn spirit as parents cheered enthusiastically from the sidelines.

One of the highlights of the morning was the parents’ relay race, a moment filled with laughter and excitement as families swapped roles and the children watched their parents dash across the field.

A huge thank you goes out to all our children for their incredible effort, our staff for their dedication and organisation, and our parents for their unwavering support and enthusiasm. Sports Morning 2025 was a resounding success, a celebration of athleticism, teamwork and the vibrant Braeburn community.
