BNIS Tourists

29th October 2021

Have you ever taken a photograph using the ‘forced perspective’ technique? Maybe you have but without even realising!

Forced perspective is when you create an optical illusion to make an object appear farther away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is. Children in Year 3 have been having lots of fun creating photos with this technique in Art lessons. They have been inspired by photos that tourists have taken at famous landmarks around the world as part of their Geography topic on ‘Holidays’.

Perhaps you have seen photos of someone magically seeming to touch the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France? Or holding up the Tower of Pisa in Pisa, Italy?

Check out our Braeburn Nanyuki equivalents.
