Every year, Braeburn's Got Talent (BGT) is a thrilling three-day event that celebrates the incredible talents of children and parents. The 2024 BGT was no exception. Though non-competitive this year, the event showcased creativity, humour, and unforgettable performances that kept the audience engaged from start to finish.
Liam and Tito had everyone laughing with their witty maths-themed comedy, while Mary impressed with her writing skills and a hilarious take on the Final Day Celebration. Rhys and his mum amazed the crowd with a magical act, making objects vanish and reappear effortlessly - who could forget the entertaining sausage and dog moment? Despite being our youngest performer, Obi took to the stage with confidence alongside his loyal assistant (his sister Amara). They delivered hilarious Christmas-themed jokes with perfect comedy-timing!
The stage also came alive with enchanting music. Pahi opened with a twist on a well-known on Christmas classic, followed by a beautiful duet from Allison and Gaby. Gloria’s stunning vocals left the audience spellbound. Tazim wowed the crowd with her incredible gymnastics, and Eliza and Jecca delivered a dazzling, Olympic-level routine in their elegant costumes.
Henry, known for his quick wit and speed, amazed the audience once again. Last year, he identified World flags in record time; this year, he crafted World flags using a Rubik’s Cube and still finished with 20 seconds to spare. Thomas mesmerised everyone by matching animal prints to their owners, showcasing his skills as a scientist.
Our football heroes showcased their impressive keepie-uppie skills in their favoured English Premier League shirts - the North London club was a clear crowd favourite.
Samuel brought a tear to the eye with his rendition of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” accompanied by his music coach, Steve. 'The White Tripes' rock band trio delivered an electrifying performance, proving that even without a matching wardrobe, their energy and talent were unparalleled.
Ndumia brought world-class dance moves to the stage, while Martin and his “Leso ladies” closed the event with their well-coordinated dance and radiant smiles.
