Brilliant Biomes

20th May 2022

Year 6 have spent the last two months hard at work creating their own projects as part of their Biomes project in Humanities.

Friday 13th May may be unlucky for some but, for these students, it was anything but as they took it in turns to present their accomplishments to one another; the audience was mesmerised by 3D models, made of everything from real sand and fairy lights, to meticulously assembled cardboard trees and even a beautifully decorated cake!

Children had chosen their own projects from a list of options meaning that, alongside the stunning models, there were also presentations, essays, a very informative video and even a hand written and illustrated children’s book.

Everyone was suitably proud of themselves and definitely enjoyed sharing the fruits of their labour with their peers.
