Charitable Support

Pupils and their families have been raising money over the past year academic year and term with the help of Friends of Nanyuki School (FANS). We are thrilled to share that we are now in a position to extend monetary support, thanks to the funds accumulated from various events and the generous donation of children's books during last term's Superhero Day!

Our first beneficiary, suggested by the Wilde family, is the Segera Foundation. They will receive half of the 'Superhero Day' books, generously donated by Braeburn families for their library, along with a contribution of 50,000/- towards exercise books, paper, pencil sharpeners, and other essential stationery items for their education programme.

The second recipient, in another remote location, is Nairibi Primary School in Marsabit, and was proposed by the Baillie family. They will be gifted the remaining half of the 'Superhero Day' books and 50,000/- towards additional school resources.

The third recipient, suggested by the West family, is Tharua Special School. Monetary donations have already been directed towards materials such as cement, wood, paint, and other building essentials, as shown in the accompanying image.

All three organisations express profound gratitude for your support and highlight the positive impact these contributions will have on the lives of those involved. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in FANS fundraising events, whether by indulging in cupcakes at Family Fun Fridays, donating outgrown uniform to the FANS uniform shop, or by contributing books or 50/- for your child for a non-uniform day.
