Christmas in EYFS

9th December 2021

The month of November was a great one for FS1 and the rest of Early Years. We did lots of learning and exploring - having fun with rhymes, songs and counting to ten. Children also enjoyed getting to see their brothers and sisters take part in the Bossy King nativity at the Podo Theatre.

In the last week of term the Christmas spirit came early and no one could hold back their excitement! There were lots of engaging crafts and activities, from decorating Christmas trees, to learning how to wrap gifts, making snowmen and even baking some Christmas cookies. The children could not wait to put their hands in the ‘’cookie jar.’’

On Wednesday, the children had the opportunity to watch the ‘’Grinch’’ movie, before ending the term with a much anticipated Christmas Party, bringing in snacks to share in order to spread the Christmas spirit of giving.
