Clubs are Back

2023 provides a range of new clubs as well as the much loved weekly usuals such as Ballet, Taekwondo, Nature Club, Climbing, Scouts and Aviation Club. After our Student Council successfully purchased two new basketball nets we are ready to launch BNIS Basketball. We are delighted that a parent who is a qualified basketball coach will be assisting the PE team to run our new club. Football training will still be in action on Tuesday afternoons as well as the Early Morning Running Club for those early active birds on a Tuesday and Thursday morning.
As the new tennis court roof is finished and ready to host many a tennis match come rain or shine, early morning Tennis is now back on the menu! Chess was a popular lunch time activity and will be on offer during Wednesday lunch times for those children who want to have a go at becoming a chess master. Nature Nick is extending into cricket on Tuesday afternoons, showing everyone how to wack those balls for four and six, make plenty of runs and make some safe catches.
Everyone else will be getting creative with landscape painting, monster crafts, finger knitting, watercolour painting, crocheting and knitting. A lot of the children will be over the moon to hear that the Lego club is back as it was such a hit last term. BNIS Voices is on the search for the more excellent singers, why don't you join them? Some might want to challenge themselves by learning a new language in Spanish club - Did you know Powell Janulus, a Canadian, still holds the Guinness World Records that he earned in 1985 for being fluent in 42 languages. This is your chance to learn a new language by attending Spanish Club. The journey to beating this record starts now! Or for those drama kings and queens, learn how to perform and act in LAMDA club. Those that like to keep busy, Dodgeball is on offer as well as Dance. We really look forward to watching all the children flourish in their extra-curricular activities.
