26th September 2025
On Friday 26th September, Braeburn Nanyuki came alive with colour and comfort as pupils and teachers arrived at school in their pyjamas! Instead of the usual uniforms, the day was filled with cheerful patterns, cosy outfits and a playful atmosphere that made the whole school feel warm and relaxed.
The event was made possible by the generosity of the children, who had spent the week bringing in book donations. Each pupil who took part knew that their gift would make a real difference. This year, the Student Council chose Wangige as the charity school to receive the books, giving the day a strong sense of purpose alongside the fun.
Every corner of the school reflected the joy of the occasion. Smiles, laughter and even a few sleepy yawns showed just how much everyone enjoyed the chance to do something different. But more importantly, the day reminded the Braeburn Nanyuki community that kindness and giving are just as important as comfort and fun.
Pyjama Day was a wonderful success, showing that even simple acts like sharing a favourite storybook can bring learning and happiness to others. It was a day to be remembered not only for its colour and cosiness, but also for the generosity that made it possible.
