In the early years of childhood, nurturing strong relationships forms the cornerstone of lifelong social and emotional well-being. These early connections shape children's socio-emotional development, influencing their sense of security, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. Positive interactions with caregivers and peers play a pivotal role in fostering children's confidence and enthusiasm for learning. When children feel valued and supported by trusted adults and peers, they are more inclined to explore, experiment, and take educational risks.
In Creche, we teach children about friendships and kindness through storytelling. We engage in discussions about the importance of friends, how to treat them with care, and why we should cherish these relationships. Recently, we organised a drawing activity where children depicted their friends.
This exercise not only encouraged creativity but also allowed children to express their appreciation for their friendships. We are excited to continue nurturing these bonds and instil the value of kindness in the lives of our young learners.
