Do Tell

18th January 2024

FS1 has introduced ‘Show and Tell’ this term. On Monday, the children had a chance to show off their ‘prized’ possessions during the lesson.

Each one brought in something they loved and shared it with the class. The children thoroughly enjoyed seeing and hearing about the items that their classmates brought in. Being the centre of attention for a couple of minutes made each one feel special, valued and important. There was an array of items from dragons to dinosaurs, and from monster trucks to Spiderman snack bags.

'Show and Tell' has many benefits for young children. It provides an opportunity for students to build confidence, connect with their classmates, use language in front of an audience and of course, to have fun!

If you are a parent in FS1, please guide your child to choose an item that they feel confident enough to talk about with their class.
