Early Years Mini Sports Day

At the end of Term 2, children in Early Years were lucky enough to take part in a very exciting Mini Sports Day!
The event started off strong, with the eager participants ready and raring for the many races ahead… Things kicked off with the obstacle race, with children ducking and diving through various barriers as they hurtled towards the finish line! To add to the challenge, competitors were required to ride bikes and dress up at points in the race, allowing them to show off some of the skills they have learnt over the last few months.
A “filling and emptying” race added to the excitement of the day: armed with buckets, children were tasked with transferring water from one bucket to another, demonstrating wonderful teamwork and sportsmanship in the process.
Everyone had a fantastic time at the Mini Sports Day and it’s safe to say the cheers could be heard from all over the school as children showed their support for one another. Well done!
