Echoes of Excellence

2nd February 2024

Five of our budding performers, who had been rehearsing for the KAIS Verse-Speaking Competition, had the opportunity to showcase their talents an Nairobi Academy last weekend.

After volunteering to audition a few weeks ago, the children from Years 3 - 6 were selected as our school’s representatives for this competition.

They had to memorise a published poem, by practicing at home and receiving a bit of guidance at school. Their participation in last week's assemblies further prepared them for reciting in front of a large audience.

During the competition, the performers delivered their chosen poems with appropriate expression, enunciation, and volume. Following adjudication, BNIS's Tito came in third place in the solo competition! A big congratulations to all who participated and contributed to this success - you all represented us very well!
