EYFS Sports Activity Morning

To add to the packed schedule of the last two weeks of this school year, EYFS had their annual Sports Activity Morning. The event was made even more special as BNIS welcomed a few children from TIGs school. The event was a resounding success, filled with excitement, friendly competition and plenty of proud moments for all involved.

Our young athletes made us immensely proud as they demonstrated the skills they have learned and developed throughout the year. The Athletics Morning gave the children the perfect platform for them to showcase their abilities and embrace the spirit of healthy competition, all while having their grown ups at the finish line cheering them on. From the moment they stepped onto the field, their excitement to run across the field and show off their athletic skills was clear. Their little faces lit up as they sprinted down the lanes, giving their all in every event.

The day was packed with a variety of activities tailored to the age and abilities of our Early Years children. They participated in fun-filled races, obstacle courses and plenty of skill-based challenges. Each child had the opportunity to shine and showcase their individual talents, while also experiencing the joy of being with friends and family on the field.

One of the highlights of the event was the parents' race, which added an extra element of excitement and laughter to the day. It was heartwarming to witness the parents enthusiastically participating alongside their children, having their child stand on their feet and competing ‘together’ - there were even some children hovering in the air as their grown up sprinted to the finish line. This final event reinforced the spirit of unity and support within our community. A massive well done to all of the EYFS children and the children from TIGs school.
