FANs Family Fun Friday

17th January 2020

Our first social event of 2020 was FANs Family Fun Friday on 17th January. Everyone gathered in the sun, to catch up over a slice of cake whilst slurping something nice! Harambee pizzas were on sale and were snapped up quickly by hungry children and adults.

The bike track, that had been in place all week for our in-school bike days, was extended, jumps were added and the muddy ditch was prepared. Children did not hesitate to don their helmets and take to the track as soon as the bell rang. The only tiny delay was to instruct parents which slice of cake to buy them at the Bake Sale!

Children at Braeburn Nanyuki always embrace the chance to play in mud and this was no exception! The muddy ditch is always a popular feature of these events but the warmth of the sun prompted a few children to take it one step further this time!

There was also an opportunity for parents to enrol their kids for the upcoming 10to4 Mini bike race, of which Braeburn Schools are proud sponsors. More details about this fantastic event can be found here.

FANs will be donating funds raised from Friday's event to a charity supporting Australia during the recent bush fires. More details on the charity chosen will be published soon in FANs next financial update.
