Children in Early Years start their learning as soon as they walk through the school gates each morning. They are lucky enough to be greeted by our PE team, who prepare a range of tasks for them to take part in to help develop their gross and fine motor skills; it’s the perfect way to get ready for a day of classroom learning and the children’s days just wouldn’t be the same without it!
Throwing, catching and batting all help children to improve their hand-eye coordination, whilst cycling, football and playing on the newly positioned wooden obstacle-course work on children’s full body fitness.
There are endless ways that children can focus on their fine motor skills: cutting shapes with scissors, colouring within the lines and threading beads are just a few examples for creative-minded children.
With a well experienced team and à wide range of play equipment, there really are endless ways for our youngest children to channel their energy and develop their skills.
