Double winners!

20th January 2020

The Hog Charge is an annual fund-raising event held at Sukari Ranch on the Thika Road. Teams of four compete together on mountain bikes, navigating checkpoints, to complete a challenging cross-country course in the fastest time. The event is based loosely on the annual 4 x 4 Rhino Charge competition and has a mud gauntlet as the final obstacle. Teams raise a minimum of 24,000 ksh to enter and all proceeds go to the Rhino Ark charity.

This year there were over 600 competitors in the three age categories. Teams were either boys, girls or mixed. Jade, Anika, Robin and Bundi took to their bikes as a mixed team, working together to ensure everyone completed each obstacle successfully. They completed the whole course in the fastest time in their category, winning the Under 14 Overall Mixed trophy PLUS, they completed the tough gauntlet in the fastest time to become holders of the Under 14 Mixed Gauntlet trophy. Well done team BNIS!
