Holiday Swim Camp

9th January 2025

During the December break, Braeburn Nanyuki hosted its first swimming camp, a milestone in building the school’s swimming culture. The week-long camp combined fun activities, swimming lessons, and fitness drills, catering to all skill levels, from beginners to competitive swimmers.

Health and positive body goals were central themes, with each session beginning with warm-ups and age-appropriate exercises before diving into tailored swimming lessons. Personalised instruction ensured every child progressed at their own pace.

Teamwork and socialisation were emphasised through daily debriefs, where children reflected on their sessions, enjoyed snacks, and bonded with peers, fostering a strong sense of community.

The camp was a rewarding way to keep children active and engaged during the holiday, offering physical, mental, and social benefits. We eagerly anticipate the next camp in April!
