IAPS Drama Success!

Last week the 25th September, a mixed group of Under 11 and Under 13 BNIS pupils travelled to Hillcrest school, to take part in the IAPS Badminton Trophy competition; a prestigious event that has been running since 1993.
This drama competition entails devising a performance out of one word. The given word was ‘Challenge’. The pupils were more prepared than last year and did a good job of coming up with an idea that they built on. Adding a touch of humour, the group took the word and devised a performance that showcased each of their talents.
Their performance was a school challenge to climb Mount Kenya in 5 Minutes! Each character demonstrated their challenge through actions and words, providing a cohesive performance that gave us a win.
We are incredibly proud of our achievement, as this was the first time that we have won this trophy, as well as breaking the winning streak of the previous winners!
