In Harmony

24th February 2026

On Saturday, 7th February 2026, eleven children from Year 2 participated in the annual Mount Kenya Waldorf School Festival, accompanied by Miss Mogaka and Mr. Muriithi.

This annual festival is a wonderful opportunity for children to showcase their talents, gain confidence, and connect with others through music - an objective that was certainly achieved! Other schools in attendance included St. Christopher's and Mount Kenya Academy, both of whom brought bands and small choirs.

The performances were kicked off with the djembe by Paul, an accomplished traditional drummer. This was followed by a fantastic all-schools performance of ‘I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing’ and ‘The School Song’. Braeburn Nanyuki’s own renditions of ‘Love Can Rule the World’ and ‘We’re So Grateful’ were incredibly well received by the audience.

With plenty of other activities to fill the afternoon, it was a beautiful day of music and connection enjoyed by all in attendance.
