Independent Learning Activities in FS2

22nd January 2021

A major focus in the teaching and Learning of Early years Children at BNIS, is their independent learning activities (ILAs). These are interest-based learning activities for children to enjoy and explore, furthering their learning and skills. These activities also provide an opportunity for children to learn new skills by watching or interacting with others. They are a fantastic way for children to socialise with their peers who share their interests as well as to learn new skills from other peers. The FS2 children have been doing a fantastic job at learning and exploring the do’s and don'ts of the (ILA activities).
