Interschool Cross Country

A great day was had by all on Saturday 7th May for the BNIS Interschool Cross Country Event 2022. The event was held at Tambuzi Farm in Burguret, near Nanyuki.
Seven schools competed in U9, U11 and U13 races which were run on a range of terrain in the beautiful surroundings of the farm. Braeburn Nanyuki hosted the six visiting schools: St Christophers Nairobi, Rusinga Schools, Premier Academy, Braeside, Braeburn Gitanga Road and Braeburn Imani.
St Christophers were the triumphant winning team, after securing places in almost all categories. We were incredibly proud of the BNIS team who ran with great energy and determination and were delighted to place second in the U13 girls and to also achieve fourth place both the U9 and U11 boys' races.
Well done to all runners at the event who showed great confidence in their successful completion of the course. We are already looking forward to next year!
