It's all go Swimmingly

5th November 2021

Our Swim Team are quickly shaping up after two years without training and it’s safe to say that everyone has been pleased with the results. It has certainly been a challenge, as children work hard to get back to full fitness whilst taking the time to ensure that their stroke is as finessed as ever.

The team’s endurance is slowly getting better as they have progressively increased the intensity of their training each week. Swimmers are normally grouped according to their age, but depending on the plan for each session this can change, in order to maximise each child’s opportunity for improvement.

There’s no doubt that training sessions at BNIS are fun and exciting to take part in, but keeping the workouts demanding means that our swimmers have no choice but to put 100% effort in to every session.

New swimmers have settled in the team’s routine and are making good progress: we can’t wait for our first challenge when swimming galas resume!
