Making Strides

Last week, our school proudly participated in the IAPS Cross Country event held at St. Andrew’s School, Turi. The team entered the competition with high energy and confidence following a strong showing at our own cross country meet.
Turi's higher altitude presented a unique challenge, but the team was well-prepared through their consistent training. Despite a difficult evening and night due to rain, the students adapted quickly — showing resilience and determination on race day.
Notably, older students stepped up to guide and encourage the younger ones, embodying true BNIS spirit and leadership.
The standout performance came from our U13 Girls team, who all placed in the top 10 and secured first place in their category. This marks the first time in 25 years that a Braeburn school has won this title!
