Making Waves

5th June 2023

Over the half-term break, the BNIS Swim Team took part in the Aberdares Invitational Gala at Mpesa Foundation in Thika. This was a wonderful opportunity for our swimmers to experience competitive swimming and showcase their skills as well as lower their times against other talented teams. The BNIS team performed exceptionally well and achieved outstanding results.

Teaming up with Braeburn Imani, our swimmers formed the Braeburn Swim Club - power in numbers. Together, they demonstrated remarkable teamwork, determination and discipline. The girls came in first overall and the boys second overall, which led to an impressive second-place finish in the event - massive congratulations to our swimmers. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment our swimmers have displayed throughout the year in their training.

A massive thank you to all the parents for their unwavering support, encouragement and for adding the distinctive Braeburn Nanyuki flair to the event.
