The holiday season at Braeburn Nanyuki International School began with a captivating performance of The Mouse in Santa’s House by the talented KS1 children. This delightful play followed the story of Tommy, a young boy with an unusual Christmas wish - a little mouse for a gift. Meanwhile, Tip, a curious mouse, inadvertently joins Santa on his sleigh, leading to a series of humorous and heartfelt adventures that culminated in a touching message about love and acceptance during the festive season.
The children delivered memorable performances, with highlights including Claude’s comedic line, Tip’s charming song A Very Small Mouse, and the lively finale, Do the Mousicle, which had the audience clapping along. The beautifully crafted sets, imaginative costumes, and catchy songs added depth and charm to the production, making it a visual and emotional treat for parents and teachers alike.
Key Stage 1 teachers expressed their pride in the children, applauding their dedication and enthusiasm in creating such a special performance.
