On Friday evening, the Braeburn Nanyuki community came together for the termly movie night. The plan was to watch the film under the stars in the quad as always, but a sudden downpour in the afternoon meant a change of venue. The Podo Theatre turned out to be the perfect alternative, offering warmth and comfort while keeping the evening just as magical.
This term’s movie was The Wild Robot, a science-fiction animation that was both entertaining and educational. The story connected well with pupils who are learning STEM subjects, giving them new ideas while also keeping everyone glued to the screen. Giggles and laughter filled the room as children and parents alike enjoyed following the story together.
Parents were treated to hot, fresh pizza from Randall’s Place, which has now become a favourite tradition at these events. The food, the film, and the friendly atmosphere made the night memorable for all who attended.
Even though the stars were hidden, Movie Night once again showed how important these gatherings are not just for entertainment, but for bringing the whole Braeburn Nanyuki family closer together.
