Last Friday night saw plenty of BNIS families singing along to Matilda the Musical. Since last Movie Night was such a success and was so enjoyed by the children (and the adults), we had to have another one as soon as possible. After the democratic vote that took place in every classroom, Matilda was the most wanted movie! It was a wonderful gathering and a super way to connect after the holidays and highlight the wonderful sense of community in our small town. The weather was on our side, we were treated to a wonderful sunset and a beautiful evening.
The pizza was supplied by Randalls (a very big thank you to them) and was enjoyed by many who had pre-ordered and even some who felt a rumbling in their belly for pizza when they arrived. What is a movie night without snacks and plenty of pizza? Families were spread out on picnic blankets or watched in style from their camping chairs. Snacks were everywhere, popcorn and plenty of sweets filled the children’s tummies = a perfect movie night.
A massive thank you to all the grown ups who gave up their Friday night to watch a musical in the school quad. Some parents were even spotted singing along! It was one of those nights that will be spoken about for a while and one we hope to repeat again soon. Start thinking of what movie you want to see projected onto the screen next.
