Playful Numbers, Artistic Wonders

Year 3's week was both busy and exciting, filled with fun and engaging learning adventures in Maths and Art.
In Maths, we took an inventive approach by using playdough to explore adding ones to three-digit numbers. Starting with colourful playdough on whiteboards, we divided it into units, tens, and hundreds, representing the structure of the numbers. This hands-on approach turned maths into an interactive experience filled with creativity and laughter.
In Art, we delved into the world of perspective photography. Armed with iPads and creative ideas, we partnered up to capture the magic of perspective around the school. Despite the weather, our spirits remained high, and we returned with a collection of beautiful, transformed pictures. This experience opened up a whole new world of imagination and creativity.
