Rescheduled Treasure Hunting

21st May 2021

On Friday 21st May we finally got to host a long-awaited Treasure Hunt for the children. Each year we set up an Easter Egg Hunt at school on the final day of Term 2 but, for the last two years, this has been cancelled twice as a result of COVID. It is a favourite annual event so each time it was cancelled resulted in huge disappointment for the children. We could not deprive them any longer so, thanks to Miss Hogan and her team of helpers, the children raced all over school today solving clues. At the end, by working out the 'phrase that pays', they were able to get their treasure from Mrs Gould.

The children ran at full pelt and were all absolutely determined to solve the clues quickly. The fun of the activity, combined with a small sweet token for each of them at the end, resulted in smiles all round. Fingers crossed that next year we do not get cancelled again!
