Self Managers in Early Years

4th September 2017

What a start!

Normally, the beginning of a new school year and new term is filled with tears of ‘missing mummy and daddy’. But this one has proven to be a different one with the introduction of the Learning Behaviour; Self Manager in Early Years. The children have been working on managing themselves, the changes around them, their feelings, their belongings and their own learning.  Through our observations and the feedback we are getting from home, the children in Early Years have been outstanding in showcasing this Learning Behaviour both at school and at home and have been overheard using the key term ‘Self Manager’ which simply means; being the boss of themselves and taking care of themselves. We look forward to another fruitful and exciting week as we venture into our second Learning Behaviour; Team Worker.
