Shh... Do Not Disturb!

27th May 2022

Children in Early Years are constantly moving; we are fortunate to have a range of dedicated spaces and activities for the EYFS students here at Braeburn Nanyuki. Our children are offered a range of energetic activities designed to help them develop both their fine and gross motor skills. Activities on offer range from bike riding, monkey bars, tree climbing, water play to jumping on the trampoline, all of which are very important in supporting children’s learning.

In fact, by the time children in FS1 have finished the morning and had their lunch, they are almost all ready for some relaxing quiet time in the afternoon! This time is intentionally planned and routinely scheduled in order to provide children with a predictable structure to their day, as well as giving them time to revive themselves after their active mornings. For some children, this time is used for sleep, whereas others are provided with calm activities, such as reading or creating their own art.
