Singing with Style

26th February 2020

Twelve children from Years 3 and 4 took to the stage in Nairobi on Wednesday 26th February as part of the annual Braeburn Schools Music Festival. At this event, children from a wide range of schools perform songs for each other to celebrate the joy of music.

Our twelve children very tentatively took to the stage for their first song, and their nerves were evident as they struggled to find their true voices. For their second song however, there was a phenomenal transformation and a group of confident, loud and beautiful singers took to the stage to blow the crowd away with their strong performance. Miss Mwamachi, Mr Gould and Miss Rose were taken aback with how the group managed to find their confidence, seemingly from nowhere! Chloe bravely took on a solo, which was a big deal for such a little girl on such a big stage, but she pulled it off flawlessly making everyone very proud! Well done to all of the group - Lance, Alana, William, Hayley, Chloe, Alicia, Evee, Jed, Maggie, Adrien and Kara-Annah!
