This term, our swimming program focused on improving children's’ front crawl technique and teaching key lifesaving skills, like the survival float and duck diving. Through structured sessions, children built a strong foundation in both swimming and water safety.

The main goal was for the children to master an efficient front crawl. They practiced the basics, including kicking, arm pulls, body position, and breathing techniques. We focused on helping them move smoothly through the water with proper body rotation and controlled breathing, which helps with stamina.

We also introduced lifesaving skills to boost their confidence in the water. children learned the survival float, which helps them stay afloat with little effort, a vital skill in emergencies. They also practiced duck diving, which teaches them to dive below the surface to pick up objects and improves their breath control.

By the end of the term, children gained both swimming skill and confidence, ready to handle the basics of water safety and swim with more ease.
