The Haka!

21st May 2021

During this half of term in Dance, all the students have been learning how to do The Haka. This is a traditional dance from New Zealand which is performed to welcome distinguished guests or to acknowledge great achievements, occasions or funerals, it is commonly seen before rugby games and is performed by the players.

All the students have been working hard during their PE lessons to learn the dance in preparation to perform The Haka as a whole school. Here you can see how they look in their practice sessions.
