Thrilling KAISSO U13 Football Tournament

Braeburn Nanyuki once again hosted the exciting KAISSO U13 football tournament this past weekend. The event brought together schools from Nairobi and Nakuru, creating a spirited competition for the coveted victory in both girls and boys categories.
Despite our own field taking shape rapidly, we were kindly assisted by neighbouring school Three Rivers Academy, which generously provided their football pitch for the occasion. Twelve schools participated, offering a dynamic playing field for our Braeburn Nanyuki boys and girls teams
Despite not securing a spot among the top 3, our teams showcased remarkable sportsmanship, dedication, and a strong sense of community throughout each game. The joy and enthusiasm our children displayed while playing reflected not only their athletic prowess but also their passion for the game.
In a proud moment for our team, Ava received the prestigious 'Most Valuable Player' award - well done, Ava! A number of the children in the team received nominations throughout the tournament towards the MVP as well as the 'Sportsmanship Award'. This is a testament to the values and sportsmanship instilled in each member of our team. Congratulations to the entire Braeburn Nanyuki team for embodying these principles!
With each game, our team gains valuable exposure and sharpens their skills. We eagerly anticipate witnessing even greater achievements in the future. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this tournament, making it a memorable and enriching experience for our children. Go team!
