7th March 2025
On Tuesday, 4th March 2025, BNIS was filled with colour and excitement as children and staff dressed as their favourite book characters. The day started with a lively parade in the school quad, where each class proudly showed off their creative costumes. It was clear that everyone had put in great effort, and the energy was high as each year group took their turn.
In the days before the event, classes worked hard to decorate their classroom doors based on this year’s theme; Dr. Seuss books. Everyone got a chance to walk around, admire the decorations, and vote for their favourite.
Congratulations to Year 6, whose The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins display won the 2025 World Book Day Door Decoration competition!
The fun continued with exciting activities throughout the morning, including a book hunt where children followed clues and solved riddles to win prizes. A visit to the Travelling Bookshop was another highlight, as children eagerly picked out new books to take home.
World Book Day 2025 was a wonderful celebration, and we look forward to another fun-filled event next year!
