Year 1 - Creating a Story

Our English topic this first half of the term has been based around dinosaurs and week we started putting ideas down for a story. We all loved getting to know the story Tyrannosaurs Drip by Julia Donaldson and we are using this to help us with our own stories.
Have a look at our really cool ideas for the setting of our stories with our sentences describing it.
We have also been developing our main character and their name; we have invented some dinosaur type names to go with the dinosaur characters.
What we are doing next is thinking about the events in our story and we are going to be drawing out a story map that shows what happens at the beginning, the middle and the end of the story.
I wonder what adventures our main characters are going to have?
