Year 1 - Fascinating Diversity

Year 1 children also looked at how Oliver Jeffers created the beautifully illustrated book; Here We Are, with his very young son in mind. They saw that Oliver demonstrated a positive view of our planet and all it’s fascinating diversity, that seems especially uplifting in these divisive times. Perhaps we need to step back, see the bigger picture and be nicer to each other. Really, why not? Through their drawings, Year 1 children have shared with us about themselves.
