Ever since we had to close school physically, the Year 3s have been sitting with their feet up reading newspaper articles...not really...in actual fact, they have been studying the newspaper article writing genre during English lessons this term. The genre is quite different to that of a story or a non-fiction report, so they have been picking apart newspaper articles to find the features that make it so informative and relevant.
