Even though many of the fun activities planned for the Year 8 final fortnight have unfortunately been disrupted, they still managed to squeeze in an exciting trip to Laikipia Wilderness.
The children stayed at the stunning Palm Camp - where they went swimming in a nearby river to cool off from the heat of the day. They also managed to go fishing, with mixed luck from the five youngsters. The game drives were thrilling, with lots of animals spotted. Highlights included; a male LEOPARD, WILD DOGS (with a trailing hyena!), LIONS, giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a kori bustard. This memorable wilderness adventure brought the group even closer and perfectly capped off their time at BNIS.
On Friday, the only other school day after the safari, the Year 7 and 8s played match of rounders against staff and parents. It was an entertaining match that displayed their teamwork and skills in the game. Some wins, some losses, lots of fun had by both teams.
Hopefully they will be able to have a few more fun times before the official end of the school year...fingers crossed!
